my apologies to everyone for the delay

Hello to all the ladies from my demonstrations, and I am sorry for not getting my Christmas creations on here sooner, have had serious problems with my computer [you don't realise how much you use it until it has gone], but I have it back, have been on holiday to Scotland, and there is no internet up there, so another delay, anyway, will be putting things on here now and tutorials for exploding boxes and "bon-bon" boxes.

I would also like to thank all you ladies who have been to my demonstrations, it has been great to meet you all, and I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, and I will hopefully see you again in the new year. I will post my demo dates as I get them.

Love Gill

sorry for the delay

Just a note to apologise for the delay in adding my Christmas creations, and the templates for my bon-bon boxes and the exploding box I did at my demos.
I have been on holiday in Scotland and also had a computer problem, but it has been away and is now fixed, so I can now keep this up to date.

a commissioned handbag card

I like doing these cards, as you can go over the top with flowers.

had to decorate a bag for it too

some cards made with the Tweed Gorguss collection

I like doing the pop up box cards, so here are 2 of them

details how to make these cards are in an older post.

and here is a Gorguss one made using the large parenthesis xcut dies to make the card blank,
and using the Natures Gallery cardstock, it matches so well to the Gorguss colours.
went a bit mad with the small gems, but it looks good.

and a little card made by running through the tartan embossing folder, and inking lightly
add a few buttons a bow and hey presto...

some of my Christmas creations

below is an unusual shaped card that I love to do, it is really easy and is made from 1 piece of A4 card - just cut it in half lengthways at an angle, fold into 4, then on 1 piece cut halfway UP the first and last creases, on the other one cut DOWN halfway, then slot these together and there you go, a lovely shaped card.

above is a 6 x 6 box I made to fit the card in,
and below are pictures of the card decorated with the Folk collection

below is a card made using the new build a scene

and I used the same die set for the one below, just to prove you can use it not only for Christmas

below is a card made using the 'folk Christmas' tree stamp set

below is one made with the 'floral Christmas' collection'.
I like to do  something a little bit different.

this one is from the 'jolly Santa' collection

and one of the card kits from 'wellington'

and this is one using the stamp from the 'floral' collection

and a decoupge card from the 'folk' collection

and another using scraps from the 'folk' and the nesting hexagons, simple but striking.

and last in this little lot is a wall hanging, made with the 'floral' collection'

exploding box

sorry for the delay again, but it is here at last,
my Christmas version of the exploding box

I like using card candy, but had to make my own because I wanted it out of the same papers,
it is just small punched circles, shaped with an embossing tool, then put on with foam pads.

the tree is made from 5 trees cut using the nesting dies from xcut - the smallest one and cut the bottom off to fit, then stuck back to back.

below is the template for the box and then the lid

Christmas creations, bon-bon box

sorry for the delay in getting this on here - holidays and computer glitches to blame, but I have put the template below for this one

this is from the Jolly Santa range

and another, with different colours

and this one is a Wellington one

these are so easy to make, the template is below, it is 21cm square, but you can make any size as long as it divides by 3, so fold as in the template and punch holes in the 4 corners, to add ribbon. The panels are 6.5cm square, for the inner fold, just cut through a square diagonally, then decorate as you wish.
Happy crafting
