Some cards made for a client, it is sometimes difficult to think of 3 different cards for the same occasion from members of the same family, so here a 3  pearl anniversary cards.

above is the box, and below the card for inside.

below is a white on white card made with one of the create and craft die sets, using white linen card.

and this one is made using the lavender capsule collection papers and the meadow stamp

and below is a keepsake exploding box for a new baby girl, with her name, date of birth and weight, and also her parents names.

having a play

I was just having a play about, and found the swan die, so had to make a birthday card for my eldest, who is into purple,

the dies are Tattered Lace, except the flower which is Britannia lily one,

the papers and ribbons are Docrafts lavender collection,

and the card for the swan and flowers is centura pearl

I love the little swirls that come out of the swan, they look great as a bit of foliage.

a cheap wreath made to look pretty

this is a cheap wreath I bought ages ago, so decided it was time to do something with it.

I chose various colours of card from the docrafts pack in one of the goody bags,

then got out my urban stamps, mainly the script and the music ones [I did one for my sister who is musical] and stamped in sepia ink.

I then die cut using various dies and made flowers and flourishes, and cut out the bird

then put brads for the flower centres, tied a bow from ribbon, and attached them all to the wreath.

on your special day

I liked this decoupage image, so cut the trellis with a tonic die from lilac centura pearl card, and placed on a 6 x 6 card blank , with the image in the centre.

then I made some flowers with punches from the french lavender collection from docrafts, and cut some leaves out, and glued in the corners, then put lilac liquid pearls all around the outer edge of the card

The insert is a square of paper cut to size with a notelet for writing on, both from the french lavender collection

oak house studio challenge

the challenge is 'happy ever after'

 so this is either a wedding or an anniversary card,

it is an 8 x 8 ivory card, the background is the large walesby heart randomly stamped in silver pigment ink,

then a piece of orange shaded card was run through an embossing folder.

the medium walesby heart was stamped and gilded with silver gilding flakes, as I wanted it to stand out

then the sentiment was stamped in the silver ink and diecut. This was placed in a corner,

then an ivory bow added top left, and pearls to the other 3 corners
